1. The Lobby at Nesplein

For a lazy and indulgent brunch head to The Lobby at Nesplein. Serving up Dutch-style ‘wentelteefjes’ (french toast), home-made granola, american pancakes and eggs Benedict…you can find it all on their breakfast menu. 5 min walk from Dam Square.

If American pancakes are your craving then MOAK will have just the thing for you.. With three locations across Amsterdam, MOAK serve up the bestest, thickest pancakes out there. Offered with loads of toppings to choose from, fresh juices, and vegan pancakes, too.

3. The Pancake Bakery

Located in a traditional canal house in the picturesque area of The Jordaan, The Pancake Bakery serves a huge array of pancake recipes all cooked from an open kitchen. Plus the have a huge pot of UNLIMITED syrup on every table! Busy at weekends.

4. Coffee & Coconuts

This is an all-day brunch cafe and coffee roastery built around chilled, chic beach-shack vibes. Located inside a reformed 1920s cinema, Coffee & Coconuts is spread across several levels leading to an super airy and bright interior. The food is good, too. Be prepared to queue…. a long time.

5. Gs de Pijp

At Gs you can expect super tasty and indulgent brunch food combined with exceptional bloody marys. They have three locations in Amsterdam, all have eclectic, colourful and fun interiors, and with one of their locations being on a boat! See below…

6. Gs Brunch Boat

If you were planning on doing a canal tour, this could be a fun way to do it. Experience brunch on the boat whilst touring Amsterdam’s canals and sipping on cocktails. Go all out and pay €60 for bottomless brunch with bloody marys, mimosas, beers and prosecco.

Almost definitely my most visited brunch spot in Amsterdam, Bagels & Beans is a chain of bagel houses with sites all over the city. Choose from an extensive bagel menu and wash it down with some good coffee (their ice coffees are great!) or a freshly squeezed juice. 

9. Little Collins

This highly rated restaurant serves brunches with a twist, expect some really interesting and exceptionally tasty dishes. For example kimchi and egg guyere; breakfast muffin with curried and folded eggs; and potato and tarragon waffle with fried duck egg.

10. Dignita Vondelpark

With two great spots in Amsterdam, Dignita has a delicious menu of brunch foods including poached eggs, white chocolate and rhubarb pancakes, and roasted lamb sandwich, using mostly free range and locally sourced ingredients.
